Henry schlamp loved his family
And spread his love as it grew
For him to say ‘I love you’ was rare
But still we all knew.
Dad loved to construct, take walks, listen, see.
He loved flowers and gardens and planted many a tree.
All of nature he loved, animals and birds.
The sounds that they made were more beautiful than words.
Each of his 6 children are unique, the 13 grandchildren too.
The great grands are precious, but four is too few!
Family gathering are loud, lots of laughing girls and boys.
Dad would enjoy for a while, then try to escape the noise.
Grandpa gave love in a quiet gentle way.
In our memories and hearts he will always stay.
He’s together with grandma now, matthew’s there too.
Rest in peace dear grandpa, we will always miss you.
